Grounding

To make it short and simple grounding

is establishing a connection to the earth by anchoring

your energy down. A simple process of balancing your emotional,

physical and mental energy and reconnecting that energy to the earth.




Simple ways to ground yourself


  • Drinking water & eating root vegetables. Root vegetables like garlic, carrots, beets and radishes all have roots that reach deep within the ground. These roots anchor these veggies to the Earth, which can better help you to really ground yourself from within.

  • Going for a walk outside and connecting more with nature and the environment around you.

  • Standing with your bare feet on the ground

  • Using aromatherapy oils on more of the "earthy" side, such as sandalwood, pine and frankincense.

  • Working with grounding crystals such as black tourmaline, smokey quartz, shungite and black obsidian. Brown, black and red crystals tend to be grounding.
